Year-end meeting
Come on out and share your thoughts! We'll be holding a final meeting on Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the common room at 9 Haldon. Please bring any suggestions or ideas you have for next year.

Remaining crop donation
Please contact me (at eastyorkgarden at hotmail dot com) if you plan to harvest your remaining crops. If not, to prevent waste and to say thank you, they'll be donated to the seniors' residence.

The East York Community Garden is a space where gardeners can exercise their green thumbs in good company.  There are 59 garden plots and 6 raised beds available for area residents, schools and organizations. Successful fundraising has helped us to provide landscaped public seating areas and pathways, and a native species wildflower garden.

Community members and organizations are enjoying the benefits of a community garden that has increased access to fresh affordable produce, opportunities for exercise and fresh air, as well as friendship, support and learning opportunities. Garden members grow produce for themselves as well as extra to share with the community through a local food bank and shelter.
